You may remember our excitement last October when we found out Christine had been nominated for an Enterprise Vision Award (EVA) for her dedicated charity work for Skiggle. Well, we’re beyond thrilled to let you know that she’s only gone and been selected as a finalist!
Despite having a record number of entries for the 10th anniversary of the prestigious awards, our very own Christine is one of just six finalists in the ‘Charity’ category.
We all know how tough the last 18 months have been for the disability community, so we’re delighted that Christine’s continued efforts with Skiggle have been recognised by the EVAS – the largest business awards dedicated to women outside London. We’re so proud of her for always shining a light on the disability community and highlighting the daily challenges we face.
Despite having to spend over a year shielding at home with James, much of the time also apart from husband, Fergus and daughters, Ella & Amelie, Christine has continued to put all her efforts into growing Skiggle. In the coming months, we’re excited to be developing new services to enable us to extend our support to the UK’s 14 million disabled people, their families, and carers. Watch this space!
Christine now needs to get her glad rags ready for the EVA Awards ceremony on Friday 24th September, and we hope you’ll join us in wishing her lots of luck!
As always, we’re grateful for all the support we receive from our amazing Skiggle community! Good luck Christine!!
